Meraki Camp 2024

Our summer camp was a unique experience for Jerusalemite youth, combining field trips to displaced Palestinian villages and heritage days that celebrated authentic Palestinian customs and traditions. The camp also included special days to introduce participants to the Levant, through cultural performances, popular dishes, and stories from the shared heritage. In addition, the camp provided an opportunity for youth to learn various skills and professions, such as the profession of doctor and veterinarian, which contributed to enhancing their practical skills and connecting them to professional roles that serve their community. The camp aimed to enhance national identity and cultural awareness, develop the personal capabilities of participants, and connect them to their historical and cultural roots.
